| Customer Reviews: overall great for the price September 7, 2010 kary1982v6 I bought this for scouting... and trying to get back into the hiking I used to do... overall very comfortable and built pretty well for the price... I would compare this to some of the more expensive ones that I have had in the past..

Great product, timely delivered, picture and description completely accurate...
Shoulder strap could be wider for long haul hikes..
Great backpack - bad design July 12, 2009 Hector Estevez 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The backpack really seems nice (i havent taken it to a long trip) Really well padded in the back support and lots of pockets...
There's only one problem, the length between the shoulder straps and hip belt is too short... Im about 6 feet tall and the hip belt doesnt fits me (It fits rigth on my belly bottom :-S )
Good Price, but BUY SPARE PARTS! April 12, 2009 R. Timmerman (Phoenix, AZ) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
(Update after first trip.) One mile into my first trip with this pack, the clasp on the hip belt failed (not a good failure to have). Fortunately, my hiking buddy had a spare with him and I was able to replace it. Other than that, the pack performed well. Be sure to have spares for the cheap parts.
(Original review.) The backpack is beautiful and comfortable. It has lots of pocket space and attachment possibilities. I have yet to take it on a long trip, but I don't forsee any problems. I can't speak to the long term durability of the pack, but as an infrequent backpacker (once a year or so) it should be great.
